The MATTE Ceramic Coating stands out as a supremely slick and hydrophobic solution, characterized by its effortless Single-Layer application.
This coating seamlessly maintains the satin finish of matte surfaces while simultaneously enhancing it, harnessing all the advantages associated with traditional ceramic coatings.
It can be effortlessly applied onto CLEAR COATS, PPF or VINYL surfaces with matte finish.

How To Apply
Pre-Application Preparation: Ensure a clean surface by thoroughly removing any traces of oil, grease, fat, fingerprints, etc., using our recommended PREP solution.
Tools Required: In addition to the coating material, prepare an applicator pad and a microfiber towel.
Application Method:
Apply an adequate amount of the coating material onto the applicator pad, ensuring it’s sufficiently primed for even distribution. If the applicator feels “stuck”, apply more material as needed.
Achieving optimal results when applying a matte surface coating lies in the methodical approach. Employing a systematic technique, such as applying a full part, such as a hood, door ect., ensures a uniform coverage.
Buffing Phase: To promote strong adhesion, refrain from wiping the coating immediately post-application. allow the coating to sit until “sweat” marks appear. This indicates that the coating has fully cross-linked with the surface. Use the microfiber towel to swiftly remove excess material in straight lines; Subsequently, flip the microfiber towel to buff the surface, ensuring no high spots remain.

Tack-Free: 30 minutes
Initial Curing: 12/24 hours (weather-dependent)
First Wash: 14 days
Full Curing: 30 days -
Storage
NANOLAB MATTE. has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored between 0°C / 32°F and 25°C / 77°F in the tightly closed original container.
After opening – must be used within 180 days.Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable.
In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons. -
Maintenance
MATTE offers a one-year warranty, ensuring lasting protection for your surfaces.
DO NOT POLISH A MATTE SURFACE!
To maintain the validity of the warranty, it’s crucial to follow these maintenance steps every 6 months by a NANOLAB Certified Installer:
- Wash: Begin by thoroughly washing the coated surface using a pH-neutral car shampoo and a microfiber wash mitt. Rinse off any dirt and debris.
- Drying: After washing, dry the surface using a clean microfiber drying towel or a forced-air blower. Avoid air-drying to prevent water spots.
- Inspection: Carefully inspect the coating for any signs of damage, such as areas where the coating may have worn off. Address any issues promptly.
- Ceramic Coating Re-Application: Apply another MATTE ceramic coating layer to enhance the hydrophobic properties of the coating and boost its longevity. Follow product’s instructions for application.
Throughout the one-year period, it’s essential to avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could degrade the ceramic coating. Regular maintenance and timely repairs will help maximize the durability and performance of the coating over time.
